"Honesty" - meaning changed.: Letter to Editor.

Sir,
Over the years , based on very wide global common usage and acceptance,Oxford Dictionary has included lot of Hindi words in the lexicon. However they have never ever changed the "meaning " of a original English word. Presently word "Honest, Honesty"  means "Upright, not lying, not cheating or stealing, sincere and uprightness etc "
That may change with new meaning acquired by  the word "Honesty" during the UPA regime and contributions of most of our MPs and MLAs in our great country .
Let me elucidate.
Conversation overheard under UPA regime, in a Government office " So and so officer is quite honest . He take bribes , but once having taken a bribe , he ensures that your job is done ."
Change of Scene.  Conversation overheard under  UPA regime, in another Government office " So and so officer is quite Rascal and corrupt . He take bribes , but once having taken a bribe , he does not even do your job "
Thanks are due to all our politicians , who have managed to change the meaning of an "Honest" English word .
