Some information about Muchi Irrigation Project.
Muchi Project and Dam's Official Designation is "Muchi , D -0 4382" . Locally also known as " Muchi Lake" / " Muchi Talav" . Muchi Dam was constructed as part of irrigation projects by Government of Maharashtra in the year 1977 . Nearest city to dam is Pandherkawada and the Dam is situated in Kelapur Taluka of Yavatmal District of Maharashtra . It is built on and impounds a local Nallah. The dam is an Earth-fill Gravity Dam . Purpose of the dam is for irrigation .The length of dam is 500 m ( 1640.42 Feet ) , while the height of the dam above lowest foundation is 15.55 m ( 51.01 Feet ) . Detailed information about project spillway is not available However , The dam does not have a proper spillway at all . At least today there are no traces of a proper spillway . Dam's catchment area is not known . Maximum / Gross storage capacity is 1.41 MCM. Live storage capacity is 1.33 MCM. Now a days almost all the water bodies make for good picnic spots. Muchi lake is also a popular Tourist attraction for its scenic beauty .

Some information about Rampur Irrigation Project.
There are two dams with the name Rampur in Maharashtra. .1.near South Solapur in Solapur District and 2. near Wani in Yavatmal District. 
Rampur Project and Dam's Official Designation is "Rampur , D -0 4686" . Locally , also known as " Rampur Lake" / " Rampur Talav" . Rampur Dam was constructed as part of irrigation projects by Government of Maharashtra in the year 1978 . Nearest city to dam is Rampur and the Dam is situated in Wani Taluka of Yavatmal District of Maharashtra . It is built on and impounds a local Nallah . The dam is an Earth-fill Gravity Dam .Purpose of the dam is for irrigation .The length of dam is 300 m ( 984.25 Feet ) , while the height of the dam above lowest foundation is 16.05 m ( 52.65 Feet ) . Detailed information about project spillway is not available However , the Project has a Spillway in a very bad shape ,may be due to poormaintenance . Length of the spillway is not known . The Spillway is Ungated . Dam's catchment area is not known . Maximum / Gross storage capacity is 1.37 MCM. Live storage capacity is 1.13 MCM . Now a days almost all the water bodies make for good picnic spots. Rampur lake is also a popular Tourist attraction for its scenic beauty .

Borda Project and Dam's Official Designation is "Borda , D -0 3486" . Locally also known as " Borda Lake" / " Borda Talav" . Borda Dam was constructed as part of irrigation projects by Government of Maharashtra in the year 1988 . Nearest city to dam is Wani and the Dam is situated in Wani Taluka of Yavatmal District of Maharashtra . It is built on and impounds a local Nallah . The dam is an Earth-fill Gravity Dam .Purpose of the dam is for irrigation .The length of dam is 759 m ( 2490.16 Feet ) , while the height of the dam above lowest foundation is 12.41 m ( 40.71 Feet ) . Detailed information about project spillway is not available However , Project has a Spillway of Other type . Length of the spillway is not known . The Spillway is Ungated . Dam's catchment area is not known . Maximum / Gross storage capacity is 2.139 MCM. Live storage capacity is 2.00 MCM. Now a days almost all the water bodies make for good picnic spots. Borda lake is also a popular Tourist attraction for its scenic beauty .

Rasa Project and Dam's Official Designation is "Rasa , D -04702" . Locally also known as " Rasa Lake" / " Rasa Talav" . Rasa Dam was constructed as part of irrigation projects by Government of Maharashtra in the year 1983 . Nearest city to dam is Wani and the Dam is situated in Wani Taluka of Yavatmal District of Maharashtra . It is built on and impounds a local Nallah . The dam is an Earth-fill Gravity Dam .Purpose of the dam is for irrigation .The length of dam is 848 m ( 2782.15 Feet ) , while the height of the dam above lowest foundation is 10.66 m ( 34.97 Feet ) . Detailed information about project spillway is not available . Due to poor maintenance over a period of time , the spillway seems to be almost totally destroyed. However , Project had a Spillway of Other type . Length of the spillway is not known . The Spillway was Ungated . Dam's catchment area is not known . Maximum / Gross storage capacity is 1.31 MCM. Live storage capacity is 1.09 MCM. Now a days almost all the water bodies make for good picnic spots. Rasa lake is also a popular Tourist attraction for its scenic beauty .

Kinhi Project and Dam's Official Designation is "Kinhi , D -0 4179" . Locally also known as " Kinhi Lake" / " Kinhi Talav" . Kinhi Dam was constructed as part of irrigation projects by Government of Maharashtra in the year 1985 . Nearest city to dam is Ghatanji and the Dam is situated in Ghatanji Taluka of Yavatmal District of Maharashtra . It is built on and impounds a local Nallah River . The dam is an Earth-fill Gravity Dam .Purpose of the dam is for irrigation .The length of dam is 805 m ( 2641.08 Feet ) , while the height of the dam above lowest foundation is 12.85 m ( 42.15 Feet ) . Detailed information about project spillway is not available However , Project has a Spillway of Other type . Length of the spillway is not known . However measured length of the spillway is approximately 64 m ( 211 Feet ). The Spillway is Ungated . Dam's catchment area is not known . Maximum / Gross storage capacity is 1.35 MCM. Live storage capacity is 1.25 MCM. Now a days almost all the water bodies make for good picnic spots. Kinhi lake is also a popular Tourist attraction for its scenic beauty

Nandgavhan Project ,( also spelt as "Nandgawan".) and Dam's Official Designation is "Nandgavhan , D -0 4422" . Locally also known as " Nandgavhan Lake" / " Nandgavhan Talav" . Nandgavhan Dam was constructed as part of irrigation projects by Government of Maharashtra in the year 1977 . Nearest city to dam is Digras and the Dam is situated in Digras Taluka of Yavatmal District of Maharashtra . Information about the river across which it is built is not known. The dam is an Earth-fill Gravity Dam .Purpose of the dam is for irrigation .The length of dam is 545 m ( 1788.06 Feet ) , while the height of the dam above lowest foundation is 18.64 m ( 61.15 Feet ) . Detailed information about project spillway is not available . At least today there are no traces of a proper spillway as the spillway itself and part of the Dam have been washed away & destroyed. Dam's catchment area is not known . Maximum / Gross storage capacity is not known . Live storage capacity is not known.

There are two dams with the name Rui in Maharashtra.1.near Manorar in Washim District and 2. near Digras in Yavatmal District. 
Rui Reservoir was created as a result of construction of Rui Dam of Rui irrigation Project . Official Designation of the The Project is " Rui D - 04721". Locally this is also known as " Ruii Talav " or "Rui Lake" . Project was constructed as part of irrigation projects by the Government of Maharashtra in the year 1967. The dam impounds a Local Nallah . Nearest city to dam is Digras and the Dam is situated in Yavatmal District of Maharashtra . The Dam is an Earth-fill Gravity Dam . Purpose of the Project is for irrigation . Length of the dam is 134 m ( 1135.2 Feet ) . while the height of the dam above lowest foundation is 16.15 m ( 76.71 Feet ) . Information on Spillways is not available . Spillway length is not known . Catchment area of Rui Reservoir is not known . Maximum / Gross storage capacity of Rui Reservoir is 0.555 MCM . Live storage capacity is 0.5 MCM . Now a days almost all the water bodies make for good picnic spots Rui Reservoir / lake is also a popular Tourist attraction for its scenic beauty .

Upper Pus (Pus) Reservoir was created as a result of construction of Upper Pus (Pus) Dam of Upper Pus (Pus) irrigation Project . Official Designation of the The Project is " Upper Pus (Pus) D - 01030". Locally this is also known as "Upper Pus (Pus)Talav / Vasant Sagar Dharan " or "Upper Pus (Pus) Lake" . Project was constructed as part of irrigation projects by the Government of Maharashtra in the year 1971. The dam impounds Pus River . Nearest city to dam is Pusad and the Dam is situated in Yavatmal District of Maharashtra . The Dam is an Earth-fill Gravity Dam . Purpose of the Project is for irrigation . Length of the dam is 744 m (2441.0 Feet ) . while the height of the dam above lowest foundation is 42 m ( 137.8 Feet ) . Project Spillways is other type . Spillway length is 261 m ( 856.2 feet). Spillway is ungated . Catchment area of Upper Pus (Pus) Reservoir is 59.6 Thousand Hectors . Maximum / Gross storage capacity of Upper Pus (Pus) Reservoir is 113.92 MCM . Live storage capacity is 91.26 MCM . Now a days almost all the water bodies make for good picnic spots Upper Pus (Pus) Reservoir / lake is also a popular Tourist attraction for its scenic beauty .

Lower Pus Project ,( also called as Weni Project, ) and Dam's Official Designation is "Lower Pus , D -0 2869" . Locally also known as " Weni Lake" / " Weni Talav" . Lower Pus Dam was constructed as part of irrigation projects by Government of Maharashtra in the year 1983 . Nearest city to dam is Mahagaon and the Dam is situated in Mahagaon Taluka of Yavatmal District of Maharashtra . It is built on and impounds Pus River ,. The dam is an Earth-fill Gravity Dam . Purpose of the dam is for irrigation .The length of The dam is divided in two portions by the Spillway , Left and Right . The length of the dam, including the spillway is 3346 m ( 10977.69 Feet ) Left section is approximately 2500 m ( 8202.1 Feet) + Right section of approximately 650 m ( 2132.55 Feet ) . while the height of the dam above lowest foundation is 28.0 m ( 91.86 Feet ) . The Dam has a Spillway of Ogee type . Length of the spillway is 147 m ( 482.28 Feet ). . The Spillway has 10 Radial Type of spillway gates . Dam's catchment area is 128.2 Thousand Hectors . Maximum / Gross storage capacity is 81.16 MCM. Live storage capacity is 59.16 MCM. Now a days almost all the water bodies make for good picnic spots. Pus lake is also a popular Tourist attraction for its scenic beauty .

Khadakdoh Project  Dam's Official Designation is "Khadakdoh , D -0 4121" . Locally also known as " Khadakdoh Lake" / " Khadakdoh Talav" . Khadakdoh Dam was constructed as part of irrigation projects by Government of Maharashtra in the year 1977 . Nearest city to dam is Wani and the Dam is situated in Zari - Jamni Taluka of Yavatmal District of Maharashtra . It is built on and impounds a local Nallah . The dam is an Earth-fill Dam . Purpose of the dam is for irrigation . The length of dam is 390 m ( 1279.53 Feet ) , while the height of the dam above lowest foundation is 17.3 m ( 56.75 Feet ) . Detailed information about project spillway is not available . The spillway seems to have been washed away and does not exist any more. Dam's catchment area is not known . Maximum / Gross storage capacity is 2.659 MCM. Live storage capacity is 2.479 MCM. Now a days almost all the water bodies make for good picnic spots. Khadakdoh lake is also a popular Tourist attraction for its scenic beauty .
