Designation of the The Project is " Jambnala D - 03994". Locally this is also known as "Jambnala Talav " or "Jambnala Lake" . Project was constructed as part of irrigation projects by the Government of Maharashtra in the year 1999. The dam impounds Jambnala River . Nearest city to dam is Mahagaon and the Dam is situated in Yavatmal District of Maharashtra . The Dam is an Earth-fill Gravity Dam . Purpose of the Project is for irrigation . Length of the dam is 1861 m ( 6105.6 Feet ) . while the height of the dam above lowest foundation is 24.2 m ( 79.39 Feet ) . Information on Project Spillways is other type not available . Senad Dam was constructed as part of irrigation projects by Government of Maharashtra in the year 1976 . Nearest city to dam is Mahagaon and the Dam is situated in Mahagaon Taluka of Yavatmal District of Maharashtra . It is built on and impounds Sanad Nalla River . The dam is an Earth-fill Gravity Dam .Purpose of the dam is for irrigation. The length of the dam is 825 m ( 2706.69 Feet ) , while the height of the dam above lowest foundation is 11.5 m ( 37.72 Feet ) . The dam is an Earth-fill Gravity Dam .Purpose of the dam is for irrigation . Nearest city to dam is Umarkhed and the Dam is situated in Umarkhed Taluka of Yavatmal District of Maharashtra . It is built on and impounds a local Nallah . The dam is an Earth-fill Gravity . Dam .Purpose of the dam is for irrigation. The dam is divided in two portions by the Spillway. The length of the dam is 321 m ( 1053.15 Feet ) while the height of the dam above lowest foundation is 19.84 m ( 65.09 Feet ) . Detailed information about project spillway is not available . Today the spillway appears to have seems to be partly washed away . The Spillway is Ungated . Dam's catchment area is not known . Maximum / Gross storage capacity is 2.37 MCM . Nignoor Dam was constructed as part of irrigation projects by Government of Maharashtra in the year 1969 . Nearest city to dam is Umarkhed and the Dam is situated in Umarkhed Taluka of Yavatmal District of Maharashtra . It is built on and impounds a local Nallah . The dam is an Earth-fill Gravity Dam .Purpose of the dam is for irrigation . The length of the dam is 1098 m ( 3602.36 Feet ) , while the height of the dam above lowest foundation is 18.46 m ( 60.56 Feet ) . Detailed information about project spillway is not available However , The dam does not have a proper spillway at all . At least today there are no traces of a proper spillway .
