In the official list 'Lower Wunna' name has been allotted to TWO projects. They should not confused with each other. They have been allotted TWO different project numbers. They are D-03005 and D-03004. This is D-03005.with sub-name 'wadgaon'.
Local and popular name for Lower wunna D-03005, is " Wadgaon Lake/ Wadgaon Talav Lower Wunna ( Wadgaon ) Dam was constructed as part of irrigation and Hydroelectricty project by Government of Maharashtra in the year 1997. It is built on and impounds Wunna River , Nearest city to dam is Nagpur in Nagpur District of Maharashtra . The dam is an Earth fill + Masonary Dam .The Length of dam is 5330 ( 17486.88 ft ) , while the Height of the dam above lowest foundation is 23.65 m (77.59 feet ) . Project has Ogee type of spillway with 21 radial type of spillway gates .Length of the spillway is 307 m ( 1007.22 ). Dam's catchment area is 107. 55 Thousand Hectors . Maximum / Gross storage capacity is 152.6 MCM. Live storage capacity is 136.0 MCM. Now a days almost all the water bodies make for good picnic spots. Lower Wunna ( Wadgaon ) Lake is also a popular Tourist attraction for its scenic beauty .

Project has Ogee type of spillway with 07 Radial Type of spillway gates . Length of the spillway is 100.5 m ( 329.72 feet ). Dam's catchment area is 39.76 Thousand Hectors . Maximum / Gross storage capacity is 62.182 MCM. Live storage capacity is 53.182 MCM. Now a days almost all the water bodies make for good picnic spots. Nishanghat Irrigation Project, Dam's Official Designation is "Nishanghat D-04467" .Nishanghat Dam was constructed as part of irrigation projects by Government of Maharashtra in the year 1985 . It is built on Local nallah,nearest city to dam is Umrer in Nagpur District of Maharashtra . The dam is an Earth fill Dam .The length of dam is 485 m ( 1591.21 ft ) , while the height of the dam above lowest foundation is 16.16 m ( 53.0183 feet ) . Project has no proper spillway as such Its catchment area is not known. Maximum / Gross storage capacity is 2.471 MCM. Live storage capacity is 2.377 MCM. Now a days almost all the water bodies make for good picnic spots. Nishanghat Lake is also a popular attraction for its scenic beauty .

Botezari Dam was constructed as part of irrigation project by Government of Maharashtra in the year 1974. It is built on and impounds a Local Nallah , Nearest city to dam is Umrer in Nagpur District of Maharashtra . The dam is an Earth fill Dam .The Length of dam is 952 ( 3123.26 feet ) , while the Height of the dam above lowest foundation is 13.5 m (44.29 feet ) . Information on Project spillway is not known . Length of the spillway is not known . Dam's catchment area is is not known . Maximum / Gross storage capacity is 2.485 MCM. Live storage capacity is 2.4 MCM. Nearest city to dam is Bhivapur in Nagpur District of Maharashtra . The dam is an Earth fill Dam .The Length of dam is 703 m ( 2306.43 Feet ) , while the Height of the dam above lowest foundation is 12.24 m ( 40.1574 feet ) . Project has no proper spillway as such. Length of the spillway is not known . The Dam has ungated spillway .Dams catchment area is not known . Maximum / Gross storage capacity is 1.663 MCM. Live storage capacity is 1.594 MCM. Urkundapar Irrigation Project, Dam's Official Designation is "Urkundapar D-04968" .Urkundapar Dam was constructed as part of irrigation projects by Government of Maharashtra in the year 1980 . It is built on Local nallah, nearest city to dam is Bhivapur in Nagpur District of Maharashtra . The dam is an Earth fill Dam .The length of dam is 913 m ( 2995.41 ft ) , while the height of the dam above lowest foundation is 13.41 m ( 43.996 feet ) . Project has a Spillway of Ogee type.Length of the spillway is not known.The spillway is un-gated. .Dam's catchment area is not known . Maximum / Gross storage capacity is 4.936 MCM. Nearest city to dam is Bhiwapur in Chandrapur District of Maharashtra . The dam is an Earth fill Dam .The Length of dam is 434 m ( 1423.88 Feet ) , while the Height of the dam above lowest foundation is 11.08 m ( 36.3517 feet ) . Project has no proper spillway as such.Length of the spillway is not known. .Dam's catchment area is not known . Maximum / Gross storage capacity is 2.123 MCM. Live storage capacity is 2.02 MCM. Now a days almost all the water bodies make for good picnic spots. Wani Lake is also a popular Tourist attraction for its scenic beauty.

Official Designation of Totladoh Dam Irrigation Project is "Totladoh Dam , D - 05107 " . However local and popular name is " Totladoh Lake / Totladoh Talav " . Totladoh Dam was constructed as part of Hydroelectricity / irrigation project by Government of Maharashtra in the year 1989. It is built on and impounds Pench River, Nearest city to dam is Ramtek in Nagpur District of Maharashtra. The dam is located in world famous PENCH Tiger Reserve.The dam is an Earth fill + Masonry Dam .The Length of dam is 680 ( 2230.97 feet ) , while the Height of the dam above lowest foundation is 74.5 m (244.42 feet ) . The Project has Ogee type of spillway , it is installed with 14 Radial Type of spillway gates . Length of the spillway is 207 m ( 679.13 feet ). Dam's catchment area is is 427.3 Thousand Hectors . Maximum / Gross storage capacity is 1241.0 MCM. Live storage capacity is 1091.0 MCM. Now a days almost all the water bodies make for good picnic spots. Totladoh Lake is also a popular Tourist attraction for its scenic beauty . It is located in Pench Tiger Reserve and Wild Life Sanctuary which is a major tourist attraction.
