Keshavshivani Reservoir is locally also known as " Keshavshivani Lake" / " Keshavshivani Talav" . Keshavshivani Project was constructed as part of irrigation projects by Government of Maharashtra the year of completion the year 1983 . Nearest city to dam is Shindkhed Raja and the Dam is situated in Shindkhed Raja Taluka of Buldana District of Maharashtra . Keshavshivani Project is built on and impounds a local nallah. . The Project Dam is an Earth-fill Gravity Dam . Purpose of the Project is for irrigation . The length of the Dam is 588 m ( 1929.13 Feet ) . while the height of the dam above lowest foundation is 16.1 m ( 52.82 Feet ) . Detailed information about project spillway is not available . Spillway length is not known . At least whatever is left of what was once a Spillway , is in a very bad condition being eroded and washed away and only spillway canal exists. Catchment area of Keshavshivani Reservoir is not known . Maximum / Gross storage capacity of Keshavshivani Reservoir is 2.384 MCM . Live storage capacity is 2.128 MCM . Now a days almost all the water bodies make for good picnic spots Keshavshivani lake is also a popular Tourist attraction for its scenic beauty .

 Khadakpurna Reservoir was created as a result of construction of  Khadakpurna  Dam of  Khadakpurna Irrigation Project . Official Designation of the The Project is "  Khadakpurna  D - **** " .  Khadakpurna Reservoir is locally also known as "Sant Chokha Mela Sagar (from Lokstta) " .  Khadakpurna  Project was constructed as part of irrigation projects by Government of Maharashtra the year of completion 2008. Nearest city to dam is Deulkhed Raja and the Dam is situated in Buldana District of Maharashtra.  Khadakpurna Project is built on and impounds Purna River. The Project Dam is composite earthen dam with masonary, Gravity Dam . Purpose of the Project is for irrigation. The length of the Dam is 2400 m ( 1929.13 Feet ). while the height of the dam above lowest foundation is 18.5 m ( 52.82 Feet ). It has central gated spillway. spillway It has 19 Spilway gares. Spillway length is 2160 m.Full reservoir lever is 520.50 m  Catchment area of Keshavshivani Reservoir is not known. Maximum / Gross storage capacity of Keshavshivani Reservoir is 159.523 MCM . Live storage capacity is 2.128 MCM . Now a days almost all the water bodies make for good picnic spots Keshavshivani lake is also a popular Tourist attraction for its scenic beauty .

Shivani Armal Reservoir was created as a result of construction of Shivani Armal Dam of Shivani Armal Irrigation Project . Official Designation of the The Project is " Shivani Armal D - 04836" . Shivani Armal Reservoir is locally also known as " Shivani Armal Lake" / " Shivani Armal Talav" . Shivani Armal Project was constructed as part of irrigation projects by Government of Maharashtra the year of completion the year 1985 . Nearest city to dam is Deulgaon Raja and the Dam is situated in Deulgaon Raja Taluka of Buldana District of Maharashtra . Shivani Armal Project is built on and impounds a local nallah. . The Project Dam is an Earth-fill Gravity Dam . Purpose of the Project is for irrigation . The dam is divided in two portions by the Spillway. The measured length of Left portion ( Western Side ) of the spillway is 459 m ( 1506 Feet ) + The measured length of Right portion ( Eastern Side ) of the spillway is 1066 m ( 3498 Feet ) . The Total length of the Dam , including the Spillway is 1625 m ( 5332 Feet ) . while the height of the dam above lowest foundation is 15.7 m ( 52 Feet ) . . However measured length of the spillway is 110 m ( 362 Feet ) .Spillway appears to be ogee type and is not gated. Catchment area of Shivani Armal Reservoir is not known . Nearest city to dam is Deulgaon Raja and the Dam is situated in Deulgaon Raja Taluka of Buldana District of Maharashtra . Kalapvihir Project is built on and impounds a local nallah. . The Dam is an Earth-fill Gravity Dam . Purpose of the Project is for irrigation . Nearest city to dam is Mehkar and the Dam is situated in Mehkar Taluka of Buldana District of Maharashtra . Koradi Project is built on and impounds Koradi Rlver . The Dam is an Earth-fill Gravity Dam . Purpose of the Project is for irrigation . Length of the Dam is 900 m ( 2952.76 Feet ) . while the height of the dam above lowest foundation is 19.31 m ( 63.35 Feet ) . Detailed information about project spillway is not available . Spillway length is not known . However measured length of the spillway is 137 m ( 451 Feet ) . Spillway appears to be of other type and ungated . Catchment area of Kiradi Reservoir is not known . There are five more Dams with the same name . 2, near Manora in Osmanabad District ,3,near Vaijapur inYavatmal District , 4, near Tuljapur in Aurangabad District and 5 ,near Bhusaval in Jalgaon as result of construction of Khandala Dam of Khandala Irrigation Project . Official Designation of the The Project is " Khandala D - 04141" . Locally this is also known as " Khandala Talav" or " Khandala Lake" . Khandala Project was constructed as part of irrigation projects by the Government of Maharashtra in the year 1983 . Nearest city to dam is Mehkar and the Dam is situated in Mehkar Taluka of Buldana District of Maharashtra . Khandala Project is built on and impounds a Local nallah. The Dam is an Earth-fill Gravity Dam . Purpose of the Project is for irrigation . Length of the Dam is 495 m ( 1624.02 Feet ) . while the height of the dam above lowest foundation is 14.6 m ( 47.90 Feet ) . Detailed information about project spillway is not available . Pentakali Reservoir was created as a result of construction of Pentakali Dam of Pentakali Irrigation Project . Official Designation of the The Project is " Pentakali D - 03109" . Locally this is also known as " Pentakali Talav" or " Pentakali Lake" . Pentakali Project was constructed as part of irrigation projects by the Government of Maharashtra in the year 2003 . Nearest city to dam is Mehkar and the Dam is situated in Mehkar Taluka of Buldana District of Maharashtra . Pentakali Project is built on and impounds Penganga River. The dam is earth fill gravity + masonry dam. The purpose of the dam and project is Irrigation and Hydroelectricity generation . The dam is divided in two portions by the Spillway. The portion Southern side of the spillway is 480 m ( 1574.8 Feet ) + The portion Northern side of the spillway is 331 m ( 1085.96 Feet ) . The Total length of the Dam , including the Spillway is 990 m ( 3248.03 Feet ) . while the height of the dam above lowest foundation is 27.5 m ( 90.22 Feet ) . Length of the the project spillway is 138.5 m ( 454.39 Feet ) .The spillway is Ogee type and has NIne Radial type of spillway gates. . Catchment area of Pentakali Reservoir is 79.435 Thousand Hectors. . Maximum / Gross storage capacity of Pentakali Reservoir is 67.335 MCM. Live storage capacity is 60.065 MCM . Now a days almost all the water bodies make for good picnic spots Pentakali lake is also a popular Tourist attraction for its scenic beauty .
