Well done Forest Department, Nagpur, Maharashtra.  

Due to pandemic other than our 40 minutes walk in the morning, remaining 23 hours and 20 minutes of  the day are spent confined within the four walls of home.

Those 40 minutes of walk in the fresh air invigorates and charges our batteries which lets us run efficiently in getting through remaining 23 hours 20 minute.

When we returned from Delhi after two and half months our car wont start, leave alone start it wont even crank. Battery was dead as a dodo. Shelled out cash and replaced the battery.  

For the welfare of the battery and car we had to do something equivalent to our 40 minutes morning walk. 

We take out the car. Go out drive around 8-10 kms with windows closed. Come back and park the car for next 10 days. Car stays healthy and we have some happy moments.

Latest outing was on 19 Sept 20. Went up to DSOI near Vayusena Nagar. On the way back saw few cars parked, where logically, they had no reason to be parked.  Slowed down and saw this  board

Addition of brand new Biodiversity Park.

A gift to Birders and nature lovers of Nagpur.

After Biodiversity Park on wadi road and Little Wood on Hingna Road,this is the third Biodiversity park in Nagpur. We should be proud.

Even though it was new for us those who had parked the cars seemed to know about it. Got down and made enquiries. 

This is what we were told by the forest guard on gate duty.

 Forest Department was working on it since June 20. It was formally opened in August 20. Timings are from 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM. On all days except on Monday which is weekly closed. Entry fee is Rs 10/-. Single track available now is about 2 KMs.(one way). Photo is likely to give an idea of what that track is likely to be 

Presently this is the only track and its condition..

 

This Biodiversity park is not marked on google map as yet. I have now added it, it will appear in due course after approval of google map team. Screen shot f location given below.
