Morningwalk Vignettes - Practise makes perfect.

Morningwalk Vignettes - Practise makes perfect.
This refers to before BC (before corona) era
My morning walk continues even when I go to Ajeet-Jayati's place in Delhi.
Timing of my morning and news paper boys going about there coincide. The route was full of mostly 4 storied buildings standing cheek by jowl.
Those boys did their homework before starting on their distribution rounds. News papers were rolled up and secured with a rubber band so that pages do not fly off when the paper is thrown. Papers were properly arranged in the basket hanging in front. These boys came to stop picked a paper and with extreme confidence threw it. The throws landen in the balcony.  Invariably first paper to be thrown was on 4th floor, followed by 3rd, 2nd, 1st and lastly a throw in ground floor of the house.
Almost all the boys were expert at such throws.  To the best of my recollection they seldom missed their throw. Proving age old adage - Practise makes perfect.
After a bit of mathematics about the size of basketball court and average height of 4th floor balcony, A thought came to my mind.
What if we train selected boys to play basket ball. With the expertise gained with newspapers it wont take them long to get a basket with every throw. :-)
May be they could make olympic winning team !!!!!!!
