It has been a long time I have not reported latest developments on Metro Rail on my beat.
It was record breaking cold in Nagpur some time back. Temps were hovering around 3.5 tp 5.0 degrees C. As is my nature I went on my morning walk. After the second walk in these cold conditions, had a sprain in lower back . It became so severe that even sitting erect was extremely painful. Also had a mouthful from Ajeet & Priti for going for a walk in such cold. Barred from morning walk till temps improved.
Started the walk two three days back.
So here goes with developments since my last report on 12 Jan 19.
Work on segmenting of last portion of track between Sitla mata Mandir Chowk and Hingna T point started around 11 Jan 19. Placing of the segmented track has still not been done.हत्ती गेला पण शेपूट राहिली आहे See the photos

By 04-02-19 all supporting trestles have been removed.....

Mean while both side road between Sitla mata Mandir Chowk and Hingna T point has been resurfaced. It is pleasure driving in that portion, till such time people drive wrong lane.
