After concreting of the Ring Road from Hingna T point. Street light Poles of modern designs were installed.
These were fitted with latest LED light fixtures which must have cost a lot of taxpayers money. One does not mind such expenditure as it is done for the benefit of the general public.
However one does mind when tax payers money is spent and commensurate benefit do nor accrue to public. Every streetlight pole is supposed to have two led light fixtures. Just 500 odd meters length of ring road has about 10 odd light fixtures missing. They were NEVER INSTALLED. If this is the case in 500 odd meters of road length one can only imagine total numbers of lights which were NOT installed but WERE PAID for.
It would be interesting to know who carried out final inspection and cleared the bills for settlement.
