Global Warming. Changing Weather.

 Global Warming. Changing Weather.
Summer took summer holidays this summer.
After retirement, we settled in Nagpur. That was almost 27 years back.
As compared to all those years, this year we experienced a totally different kind of summer.
In those earlier years, the maximum temperature used to be 43 to 45 degrees C, CONTINUOUSLY for at least a week to a fortnight. Touching 46 and remaining there for a couple of days was also normal. Out of those about 27 years for 3-4 years we had also experienced 47 to 47.5.
Minimum hovered around 33 to 35 Degrees C.
There was no respite from the heat.
In that dry heat desert coolers were lifesavers.
This year.
Throughout this summer, from Mar-April till June first week when monsoon arrived, the maximum temp was 41 degrees C only and that too for ONLY ONE day for a few hours. Generally it was 37 to 39 Degrees C.
Minimum did not even touch 30.
In Nagpur
Summer took summer holidays this summer.
How was it with you all?
Don't you think it is high time we woke up?
