Seclude : Resort, Palampur.
It is a building located all by itself and in an area where there may not be more than a few houses within an area of a couple of square kms. So Seclude is named very appropriately.
Located amid lush green terraced farms on a sloping hill, overlooking a small, thickly wooded valley with a rivulet, it offers an amazing and captivating view of natural beauty. Due to unspoilt natural surroundings, plants and greenery, it is also a veritable source of different species of birds, and a place bird watchers will love. I, for one, saw a Paradise Flycatcher for the first time. Most probably, they had a nest nearby because the sighting of the Paradise Flycatcher happened quite often during the day, particularly during the early morning and at dusk. The building itself has retained its vernacular architecture, very noticeable in the styling of the roof without any false ceiling. With thick green ivy-covered walls and vines climbing up to the central portion of the roof, the Seclude building looks very beautiful. Rooms have all modern amenities, are very comfortable, with huge glass panel windows, with a view that is breathtaking. The Staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. We had all our meals in Seclude. The food was prepared as per the menu given by us. The food was tasty and wholesome. on the last day of our stay, the caretaker, a lovable elderly fellow, on the request of Jayati, our D-I-L, served "Dham" in dinner. (The word Dham refers to a traditional feast prepared for special occasions, festivals, and celebrations in Himachal Pradesh/ Kangara.) All in all, a very pleasant and memorable stay. If you want peace and serene tranquillity, Seclude is the place for you.Chamba Pattan Hanging Bridge on Beas River. On the way to Seclude.

"Dhan".
A Kangri Dham meal typically includes aromatic rice, fried pulses (dal), and spicy vegetable curry, along with various desserts. It's a traditional Himachali meal often served for celebrations like weddings, birthdays, and religious occasions, and is cooked without onion, ginger, and garlic. The menu might also include dishes like Rajma Madrah, Kadi, Khatta, and Sepu Badi
