I have been going for morning walks for the last 16 -17 odd years.

I try not to miss my walks even when I am away from Nagpur.  

We initially visited Anuj in Singapore when he was staying in at Condo Costa Del Sol. 

It was very close to the coast and one could reach the 

Visit to Little India Aracade.

 On 04 November 2023, we went to Little India Arcade in Singapore. As we turned into Serangoon Road, we heard loud sounds of Dhol, Tahsa and Lezim. Thought that it must be recorded music being played in one of the shops.

Out of curiosity Anuj followed the sound and discovered that it was live group making music.

Ladies, Gents and children all dressed in red and all wearing red coloured turbans presented a pretty picture. Hats off to the pretty ladies with huge dhols playing loud and vigorous beats. Girls and kids playing Lezims, which unfortunately is a dying sport, indigenous to Maharashtra.

The show was rounded off with loud slogans of हर हर महादेव, शिवाजी महाराज कि जय आणि गणपती बाप्पा मोरया (Har Har Mahadev, Shivaji Maraj KI Jai and Gnapay Bappa Moriya).
