Letter to Editor.

After a long time I am writing . Hope this gets published .

Sir ,
This is the longest the strike of pilots in the history of Air India/Indian Air Lines has lasted .  This has happened only because this is the first time that the Government has not surrendered to the unfair black mail .However some news items have appeared stating that now the Govt. and the Pilots have started talks .
The Govt.must not negotiate nor bow down to the black mail .
In the very first place Government must Govern.
It has / had no business to take over and try to run a world class and profitable air line and run it to ruination . The reasons are many . The fact remains that before being nationalised , Air India , run by The Tatas was the most respected and profitable Air line in the World.
Now this longest strike call by Pilots has offered a golden opportunity .
It is suggested that the Govt. should declare a lock out . Open negotiations with the Tatas or any other capable Industrialists , other private air lines . Hand over the running of Air India/Indian Air lines to any one of them and  gracefully withdraw from running an aviation
 business and concentrate on Governance.
