Occasionally,I keep writing letters to the Editor of The Hitavada , our local news paper , on the subjects which agitate me greatly .Some get published , some don't . Most of them get edited . In some the scissor is kind in some it is so brutal as to hurt :-(
When I narrated the story of one such brutal cutting to Jayati , she suggested that I put up a scanned copy of the published letter and the one which was written originally , people will know what you felt and how the Editor had altered your mail . I was not able to trace the paper , so that can not now be done , may be later if I ever find it .
Here is one more letter which I have written this time I have sent a copy to India Today as well. I do not know it will get published or not . One thing is sure no one can stop me from puttingit up in my blog :-)

6. Promises to bring Reservations for SC, ST , OBCs and whole heap of ABCs & XYZs, sans merit, in PRIVATE Sector .
7. Promises for reservations in all possible openings for MUSLIMs .
8. Demand for reservation of 80 % vacancies , sans merit OR employability in all fields and openings, in ALL STATES for the "SONS OF THE SOIL"
9. In spite of assassination of Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and countless sucide bombingsand other terror activities, LTTE is NOT a terrorist outfit .
10 Free electricity & Water to farmers .
11. Rations at Rs 2 per Kg to all below poverty line .( ? )
12. Politics based on Mandir , Masjid , Church & Gurudwaras , cast & Creed , the list is end less............
Sir ,
Taliban , Al - Quida , I S I , Pakistan or China , none of them have to lift a finger to destroy our mahan Country which is mera Bharat ! Our esteemed Netas are already well the way to achieve the destruction of this country .
