I have been introduced to the " blog " by my son who had opened his own blog .
Being what he is , and also that he had put up some of my pictures and opened a blog in my name made me log on to and read his blog time and again , repeatedly if there was no new entry or avidly, if there was a new entry . !! It is not only woman who have vanity !!!!!!!
Another reason for reading his bog was that , He has a gift of pen , aka "gift of the gab " , so his bloggs were eminently readable and we enjoyed reading them . I think initially I was the only person religiously logging on to his blog and once in a while , leaving a comment . Now I notice that he has acquired a wider readership as more and more people are finding him interesting !
Have been doing that , reading his blog for quite some time now . He was sailing and so for a long time now there was no new entry , or to say in blogger's jargon , "new post " on his blog , Having married last year and having Puja with him also contributed to non-posting of new posts !
He has signed off and come home some time back . Postage stamps received in his absence were handed over to him and that brought about flood of new posts and a brand new blog !!!
All his activity and having reading his blogs for so long and thus , after such a long time , the motivation has reached a stage when I decided to open my own blog .
What to write is always a big question . If you do not have a story and are not planning to write a novel the easiest thing to write is about your own story . Even if you do not know yourself at least you have sufficient data to make a start !!
